Hike for Hospice 2025
Hike for Hospice is our most significant fundraiser of the year. The success of this event enables us to offer our services to lower Sunshine Coast residents year-round. We are grateful to the hundreds of donors, participants, and sponsors who return yearly to make our work possible.
Coast Hospice is the only charitable organization on the Sunshine Coast that delivers services to people facing the end of life and to their loved ones during a life-limiting illness, grief, loss and bereavement. Our community work is primarily conducted through a team of over 100 trained volunteers and a small staff of professionals. With the support of our community, we keep our innovative programs and services free of charge and responsive to the needs of people living between Egmont and Port Mellon, including the islands, and accessible to all Coast residents who need our support.
Raffle Tickets:
We have officially begun selling our raffle tickets; we encourage everyone to stop by Hospice House in Davis Bay (4602 Simpkins Road) to purchase a ticket while they are still available.
A massive THANK YOU to the following businesses who supported our community work by donating prizes for the raffle:
Creek Clayworks
London Drugs
Molly’s Reach by Black Bean
Smitty’s Oyster House
Tapworks Brewing Company
The Station Tapas and Wine Bar
Tickets are 1 $5 and 5 for $20, and the winners will be drawn at our Annual General Meeting at the Seaside Centre (5790 Teredo Street) on June 26th at 7:45 p.m. For more information, please contact us at 604-740-0475.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the H4H2025 celebration wrap-up event on May 25th!
Special thanks to Howard Paull for graciously welcoming everyone to the unceded territory and homeland of the Salish People.
We extend our warmest gratitude to the incredible H4H2025 teams who attended, to Dr. C. Cavalcade, Mr. Bubbles, and to all of our amazing volunteers whose support helped make this event such a success. A heartfelt thank you as well to the Knotty Dotters for lifting our spirits with their original and magical music!
Borrowed tents provided a much-needed shelter from the wind and rain, thanks to HWH Construction (Mark), SCCU (Jeff), Jackie & Graham, and our good friends at Pacesetter and RentalEquip. The RBC Community Team was on site early to lend a hand with setup—we are always grateful for this exceptional and long-standing contribution and donation from RBC.
Thank you to Quality Garden & Pet, Tapworks Brewing Company, B&K Garden & Landscape Supply, Shift Kitchen & Bar, Famoso Pizza, and Trail Bay Home Hardware for donating the door prizes for the event.
