Michael Gurney, emcee
You’re warmly invited to celebrate the launch of Liber Sacrum: A Sacred Book on Being with Dying, by Marlena Blavin and Aaron Friend Lettner, with special friends Michael Gurney and Ross McKeachie.
Created in partnership with Coast Hospice, and funding from the Marin Foundation, Liber Sacrum explores death, dying, grief, and compassionate presence. Drawing on Marlena’s decades of hospice, healing, and body-based practice, the book shares intimate stories from the threshold between life and death, along with reflections on listening, slowing down, and accompanying another human being through life’s final transition.
The afternoon will include an author reading and interview, an audience Q&A and book signing, refreshments, music, and optional dancing. We hope you’ll join us for this special gathering.
Attendance is by invitation and space is limited.
Please register by Tuesday, November 10 with the form below.
